Support Calls That Arrive in Zendesk as Tickets

Your UIRIX agent answers support calls day and night. Your ChatGPT or Claude, connected to Zendesk, opens the ticket, or adds to the open one, with what the caller said.

Updated

UIRIX works with Zendesk through your own ChatGPT or Claude. Connect Zendesk's MCP server and the UIRIX connector to the same chat app, and tell it once what to do after each call. After every call and chat, your chat assistant receives what the customer asked for and records it in Zendesk: a new ticket with the requester, the priority and the call summary, or an internal note on the caller's open ticket. UIRIX itself never connects to Zendesk or stores its password.

Example: an online furniture store with a small support team

  • A customer calls on Sunday because a delivery arrived with a broken leg. The agent takes the order number and the details, and promises a reply on Monday.
  • After the call, the chat assistant finds the customer's open ticket and adds an internal note, or opens a new ticket with high priority.
  • The customer gets an e-mail with the ticket reference.

Connecting Zendesk to ChatGPT or Claude

Zendesk is rolling out an official MCP server for each Zendesk account, signed in with OAuth. As of October 2026 it is in early access, so check that it is available on your account.

Add it from your chat app's connector directory if Zendesk is listed there, or as a custom connector with the server address from Zendesk's documentation. Add the UIRIX connector in the same app.

What your AI manager does in Zendesk

Tickets from calls

A support call becomes a ticket with the requester and the summary.

Notes on open tickets

A follow-up call adds to the ticket that is already open.

Priority by your rules

Your instruction says which problems are urgent.

Nights and weekends

The agent answers when your team is off, and nothing waits on voicemail.

Set it up in four steps

  1. 1

Connect Zendesk to your chat app

Sign in to Zendesk from ChatGPT or Claude.

  2. 2

    Add the UIRIX connector

One URL and a sign-in to your UIRIX account.

  3. 3

Tell it what to do after each call

"After every support call, add an internal note to the caller's open Zendesk ticket, or open a new ticket with the summary; set urgent priority for damaged deliveries."

  4. 4

    Make a test call

Call your agent, then check the record in Zendesk.

Zendesk questions

As of October 2026, Zendesk offers it in early access. Until it is on your account, the agent's signed webhooks or a Zapier step can open tickets instead.
The record is written right after the call. During a call the agent can ask your chat assistant a question, for example to look something up in Zendesk, and reads back the answer within about 10 seconds.
Yes. The e-mail summary of every call stays as it is, so nothing depends on your chat assistant being online. Appointments are booked by the agent itself in Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly or Cal.com.
The agent remembers the people it talks to: on each call it knows what earlier calls and chats with that number were about, what was agreed and what is still open. A caller who says "forget me" is not recognized from the next call on, and the request waits for you to erase their data.
