Your ChatGPT or Claude, Now the Manager of Your AI Receptionist

Your chat assistant already knows your calendar, your CRM and your inbox. Connect it to UIRIX and it runs your AI phone agent the way a manager runs a front desk: it sets the rules, follows up every call in your own apps, and answers the agent while the customer is still on the line.

Updated

An AI manager for your phone agent is the chat assistant you already use, ChatGPT or Claude, connected to UIRIX with the UIRIX connector. It manages the agent in three ways. Standing orders tell the agent what it handles alone and what it passes on. After every call and chat, the manager receives what the customer asked for (a lead, an appointment, an order, a complaint) with the name, number and details, records it in the apps you have connected to ChatGPT or Claude, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, GoHighLevel or Outlook, and lets the customer know the outcome. During a live call, the agent can ask the manager a question and read back the answer within about 10 seconds. UIRIX needs no connector to your CRM, because your chat assistant already has one.

A call, step by step

Here is a call to a home services company whose owner runs the business from ChatGPT, with the company's order system and CRM connected to it.

  • 0:00 A customer calls. The agent answers in the company's name, and UIRIX lets the manager know a call has started.
  • 0:40 "Has my technician's visit been confirmed?" The agent says "one moment, let me check" and asks the manager, which looks the job up in the company's own system.
  • 0:48 The manager answers, and the agent reads it back: "Yes, Tuesday between 9 and 11."
  • 1:20 "Can you give me a discount on the next service?" The standing orders say prices go to the owner, so the agent takes the request and promises an answer.
  • After the call: the manager records the request in the CRM, the owner approves 10% in a sentence, and the customer gets a text message with the answer.

Why a manager instead of more connectors

Most AI receptionists connect to your business apps one by one, and you hand each one a password. With UIRIX, those connections stay in your ChatGPT or Claude, which works in your apps while the agent talks to customers. When you start using a new app, connect it to your chat assistant once, and your phone agent can use it too.

Calendars are the exception on purpose: a caller waits on the line for a free time, so the agent keeps its own calendar connection and books without waiting for anyone.

What you need

  • A UIRIX agent that answers your phone or your website chat.
  • ChatGPT or Claude with the UIRIX connector (one URL and a sign-in; it works with any app that supports MCP connectors).
  • For the follow-up after every call: a ChatGPT Work automation, a scheduled task in Claude, or a Zapier or Make webhook. Your chat assistant sets it up for you when you ask.
  • For answers during a live call: a chat app that can stay on the line for your calls, such as a ChatGPT Work automation. Without it, everything still reaches your manager right after the call.
  • Your e-mail summary of every call stays as it is today, so nothing depends on the manager being online.

What your AI manager does

The jobs a front-desk manager does, handled by the chat assistant you already use.

Sets standing orders

Area by area, it tells the agent what it decides alone and what it passes on: appointments, cancellations, prices, complaints and more. Payments always come to you, and no order can make the agent take card details. A change applies at once, with no rebuild.

Follows up every call

Every call and chat reaches your manager with the customer's request, already structured. It records the lead or the order in your own apps and answers the questions the agent could not decide.

Answers during the call

The agent says "one moment, let me check" and asks your manager. The answer comes back within about 10 seconds; if it does not, the agent promises a message and the manager follows up after the call.

Tells the customer the outcome

Your manager sends the customer one follow-up message per conversation through the agent, by text message or e-mail, with your do-not-call list checked first.

Uses the apps you already connected

Salesforce, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Outlook, Slack and every other app your ChatGPT or Claude works with. UIRIX stores no passwords to them.

Bookings stay instant

An appointment is the one answer a caller waits for, so the agent books it itself in Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly or Cal.com, within a second or two.

Make your chat assistant the manager

  1. 1

Connect UIRIX to ChatGPT or Claude

Add the UIRIX connector with one URL and sign in to your UIRIX account.

  2. 2

    Give your standing orders

Say them in your own words ("discounts go to me, book new patients only in the morning"), or set them in the Standing Orders tab of the dashboard.

  3. 3

Say what happens after each call

"Every new lead goes to Salesforce, and send me a note in Slack." Your chat assistant creates the automation and tells UIRIX it is on duty.

  4. 4

Take the shift for live calls

Optional: ask your chat assistant to stay on the line for your agent's calls, and the agent can ask it questions while the customer waits.

AI manager: common questions

It is the chat assistant you already use, ChatGPT or Claude, connected to your UIRIX phone agent. It gives the agent standing orders, follows up every conversation in your own apps, and answers the agent's questions during a live call.
No. Your ChatGPT or Claude already works with your CRM, calendar and other apps. UIRIX passes it what the customer asked for, and it does the work there. UIRIX never stores the passwords of those apps.
The agent waits up to about 10 seconds. If the answer is not back by then, it tells the caller it will follow up by message, and the manager handles it right after the call.
The agent writes its question to the manager in its own words; it never passes a caller's instructions on as orders. During the call the manager answers questions only, and the follow-up instructions you give tell it never to delete anything or make a payment because a caller asked.
Yes, for everything after the call. Claude Duet, Anthropic's proactive agent (a research preview for US Pro and Max subscribers since October 2026), uses the connectors of your Claude account, so with UIRIX added it can put your calls, new leads and waiting decisions in its morning brief, have the agent place the callbacks you approve, and record each call in your other apps. Duet checks your apps every few hours and does not answer during a live call; your standing orders cover that part.
The agent works as before: it follows your standing orders, books into your calendar, and you get a summary of every call by e-mail. You can also send each conversation to Zapier or Make with a webhook.
No extra UIRIX fee. Calls and chats are billed by usage as usual (the few seconds the agent waits for the manager count as call time), the follow-up text message is billed like any text message, and the manager's own work runs on your ChatGPT or Claude plan. Start free with $10 of trial credit.
