1. What "Rebuild My Agent" Actually Does
4 Rebuild Stages:
1. Knowledge Processing (8-12 sec): Reads files, analyzes website pages
2. Capability Configuration (3-5 sec): Activates/deactivates capabilities
3. Prompt Generation (5-8 sec): Creates system prompts
4. Deployment (2-3 sec): Makes changes live
Total: 20-30 seconds
What Changes: Agent's knowledge, capabilities, and behavior
What Doesn't Change: Name, greeting, voice (those are instant with Save)
2. When You MUST Rebuild
- Upload new file → Click "Rebuild My Agent"
- If you don't rebuild: Agent won't know new information
Scenario 2: Crawled Website
- Crawl new pages → Click "Rebuild My Agent"
- If you don't rebuild: Agent has old website info
Scenario 3: Added New Capability
- Add "Schedule Appointment" → Click "Rebuild My Agent"
- If you don't rebuild: Capability appears but agent can't use it
3. When You Should NOT Rebuild (Just Save!)
- Edit greeting text → Just click SAVE button
- Changes are instant (0 seconds)
Scenario 5: Changed Voice
- Switch from Grace to Sophie → Just click SAVE
- Next call uses new voice immediately
Scenario 6: Changed Business Name
- Update name → Just click SAVE
- Agent says new name immediately
Rule of Thumb: Changed what agent KNOWS → Rebuild. Changed what agent IS CALLED → Save.
